This surround comes ready to paint, wax or varnish to your taste. The beautifully carved wood will make quite a statment to your fireplace, creating a grand but homely feel. 
 
Please note that this fireplace will need a light sand as has some light speckles on the woodwork from being in storage and has a shallow dent in the right foot of around 15mm x 25mm. This can easily be filled with wood filler and sanded if required.
